Besides the new wireless TV, LG Electronics continues the metaverse push with its Blade Wallet service. The new built-in wallet will allow every NFT enthusiast to buy, sell and trade NFTs on LG Art Lab. This NFT platform launched back in September 2021, when LG Electronics named Hedera (HBAR) their Web3 partner.
On the other hand, Web3 enthusiasts will be able to access Sansar, the metaverse social platform. This social platform is based on the User Generated Market (UGM). This type of digital economy gives Web3 aficionados the ability to purchase tickets to concerts, buy new virtual gear for their avatars, participate in exclusive airdrops, and more.
LG struck a deal with Oorbit, the cloud streaming platform, to increase interoperability between metaverses. Thus, viewers can create music in the ELYNXIR metaverse by Deadmau5 and play multiple AI generative games via the Auxworld platform.
At CES, LG announced:
•Blade Wallet to buy, sell and trade NFTs at home using your LG smart TVs
•Sansar, a metaverse platform based around a User Generated Market (UGM) economy
The second biggest TV manufacturer is still bullish on the metaverse.
