The event is hosted by PleasrHouse, the auction arthouse related to PleasrDAO, also known as “the art collecting empire” in the NFT space. The 24-hour auction period will be followed by a live AMA with Kabosu Mama – the owner of the inspirational internet dog.

For this cause, a charity movement called Own The Doge was started. According to member Tridog, the idea came to mind after the legendary dog Kabosu became gravely ill at the end of 2022. Despite the 17-year-old developing cancer, a gathering of friends in the DOGE community helped Kabosu improve. Gladly, the always-happy-looking dog is back to going for walks and eating normally.
The auction winner gets to mint an NFT of the DOGE Couch, which also serves as proof that you own the actual couch in the celebrated meme. One lucky member of the DOGE Army will have the right to claim the cozy yellow couch from Kabosu’s owner Atsuko Sato. Still, the meme is immortalized in the Own The DOGE fractionalized NFT collection.
